William H. Lutz, 67, of Altoona, passed away Sunday at his residence, after an extended illness.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Carl Lutz and Betty (Heller) Stacey.

Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Amy (Weston); a daughter, Tessa Weston of Altoona; a son, Jeremiah Lutz (Katie) in VA; seven grandchildren; a sister, Charleane Wood; and a brother, David Lutz.

He was preceded in death by a son, Desmond, in 2019.

Bill graduated from Altoona High School in 1974.

He enjoyed being a musician and a composer of music.
