William H. “Bill” Weichel, 68, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Thursday at his home.
He was born in Duncansville, son of the late Frank and Anna (Weaver) Weichel.
He married Luann Ketner, with whom he shared 49 years of marriage.
Bill is survived by his wife; 2 daughters: Tracey Singer and Terri Riggle (Daniel); five grandchildren: Timothy, Tucker, Elliott, Julia, and Tyler; a great-granddaughter, Haven; a sister, Deborah Stiffler; and a brother, Dennis.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Ingram, and a brother, Steven.
Mr. Weichel graduated from Hollidaysburg High School, and then worked for Watco as a car inspector where he retired after 41 years of service.
Bill was a member of the American Legion Post 516 and the Allegheny Club of Hollidaysburg. A loving grandfather, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
A private service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
