Wilma V. Clapper, 91, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Saturday at the Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg.
She was born in Williamsburg, daughter of the late John and Barbara (Despot) Verbonitz. She married her husband, Clyde, in 1948, who preceded her in death in 1977.
Surviving are her three daughters: Christine, Susan Croyle (Michael), and Nancy Clapper (Jerry Hicks); one son: Daniel (Theresa); a daughter-in-law, Donna Clapper; a granddaughter, Rebecca Clapper-Pautz; and two great-grandchildren: Alex and Sierra.
In 2018, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Jr., and her son, William (Donna).
Wilma graduated from Williamsburg Senior High School in 1948.
She loved the outdoors, enjoyed reading, gardening, crafts, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan.
At Wilma’s request, all services are private.
Committal will be at Blair Memorial Park in Bellwood.
