Kathleen J. "Kathy" Hayward

Kathleen J. “Kathy” Hayward, 59, Hollidaysburg, died Tuesday, November 29, 2016, as a result of a motor vehicle accident.

She was born December 15, 1956, in Peoria, Ill., daughter of the late Robert and Gertrude (Bustle) Bass. On July 20, 1996, she married Pastor Jerry Hayward, who passed away November 29, 2016.

Surviving are a daughter, Paula Hill of Tulsa, Okla.; a son, Randy Hill of Bowling Green, Mo.; three granddaughters: Kolby, Penny and Abby; a brother, Jeff Bass and wife, JoAnne, in Colorado; and a sister, Laura Behare and husband, Rich, in Minnesota.

Kathy was a 1974 graduate of Richwoods High School, Peoria, Ill. She was a pastor’s wife and an administrative assistant for Home Nursing Agency. She was a member of St. John’s Reformed Church, Hollidaysburg, and she enjoyed helping other people.

At the family request, the viewing and service were private.
