Paul W. Ickes

Paul W. Ickes, 82 of Hollidaysburg, died Thursday, June 30, 2011 in Altoona. He was born May 8, 1929 in Altoona the son of the late Ross and Edna (Wolfe) Ickes.

He was married to June Chatham who preceded him in death.

Paul is survived by his special friend, Patricia Roe; brother Jack of Tyrone and a sister-in-law Patricia Ickes of Altoona; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son Jay and a brother Ross.

Paul was a graduate of Altoona High School, class of 1948. He was retired Air Force but most recently was employed as a warehouse supervisor, lock manufacturing.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Sunday, July 3 at New Hope United Methodist Church, Monroe, NC. Interment in the Church cemetery.
