Calvin B. "Cal" Dively

Calvin B. "Cal" Dively, 64 of Altoona, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at UPMC, Altoona.

He was born April 7, 1952 in Altoona, son of the late William and Sarah (Britton) Dively.

Cal married Shirley P. Garland, October 17, 1986 in Altoona.

Surviving are his wife with whom he shared 30  years of marriage; a daughter, Michele McCaulley and husband, Shane of Tyrone; a son, Gerald C. and wife Lenise of Lilly; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters:  Ramona Shannon; Doreen Conahye; Henrietta Wallace; and a brother, Gerald.

He was preceded in death by a brother William and a sister, Betty Neeley.

Cal  retired as a truck driver.

He was a member of Bread of Life Baptist Church, Altoona.

Cal enjoyed his family, and working with wood.

Friends will be received from 12 Noon to the l:00 pm funeral service, Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Sorge Funeral Home, Inc., Hollidaysburg. Pastor Luke Miller officiating.  Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
